This season marks the 17th time in the past 18 seasons the Fords have earned the team award since the association combined the indoor and outdoor season into one award.
In preparation for the biennial induction ceremony, the athletic department is seeking nominations of former Haverford student-athletes and coaches for induction.
The two-sport standout from Chesterfield, N.J. set a new personal record in the 200 meters with a mark of 26.38 at Haverford’s own Keogh Invitational to claim the event crown in front of the home crowd.
Highlighting the day was Katie Hirsche’s win in the 5,000-meter run. The sophomore ran a personal best time of 17:50.07 to break the 18-minute barrier.
The Fords totaled 22 points in their first meet of the season, including some talented first-year student-athletes etching their names into the record books in their debut competitions.
