HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College sophomore Katie Hirsche has been named honorable Mention All-Centennial Conference for the 5,000-meter run, the conference office announced in a release on Thursday morning. Additionally, senior captain Jahsaiah Moses was named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship team.

Hirsche, a Washington, D.C. native, adds the award to a First-team All-Centennial Conference in the outdoor 10,000 meters last Spring as well as an honorable mention in last spring's 5,000 meters.

She was also named a first-team All-Conference selection for cross country in the Fall of 2022, en route to an All-Region nod and a spot in the NCAA Championships in Lansing, Mich. last November. Hirsche logged a third place performance in the 5,000 meters, a time that secured a crucial six points for Haverford. Hirsche crossed the finish line in 17:54.86, four seconds off her personal best. The sophomore narrowly missed second place to Johns Hopkins' Triya Roy who finished in a time of 17:52.54.

Moses has helped rewrite the Haverford top 10 lists in the sprints this season, checking in with a standout start to her senior campaign. She notably logged a personal best in the 60 meter prelims last weekend, notching a 8.03 at the Centennial Conference Championships.

The Fords will open the outdoor season on March 25 at the Ursinus College Outdoor Invite in Collegeville, Pa. That meet is currently scheduled for a 10 a.m. start time.
