Four Fords set personal records at Greyhound Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Haverford College track & field team recorded four personal records and a pair of wins at the Greyhound Invitational, hosted by Moravian College, Sunday.

Kara McMahon helped the Fords claim a one-two finish in the 1,500-meter run by taking the victory in personal best time of 4:50.72. Sara Hess took second.

Andrea Tocci was the fastest Division III finisher, fourth overall, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a 11:55.18, a personal best. Christina Neilson's time of 12.57 in the 100-meter dash was a personal record. She took fourth in the event.

Tim Schoch earned his win with a 1:53.22 in the 800-meter run. Ben Siqueiros was second overall, and first in Division III, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. In the 1,500-meter run, Joseph Carpenter and Eric Arnold took second and third, respectively. Carpenter, the fastest Division III runner, ran the event in 3:57.72. Arnold posted a personal best time of 3:57.83.

Haverford next competes at the Gwynedd Mercy College Invitational on Wednesday, April 20.
