EWING, N.J. - Three members of the Haverford College women's track and field team participated in the Lions' Last Chance Meet hosted by The College of New Jersey on Thursday afternoon.

Senior Kylie Lipinski claimed fifth place in the triple jump with a leap of 11.35 meters (37 feet, 3 inches).

Registering a time of 2 minutes, 17.02 seconds, freshman Kathryn Balmer finished third in the 800 meter run while sophomore Chelsea Thorsheim placed fourth in the 3,000m steeplechase.

The meet represented the final opportunity to qualify for the national meet which takes place May 24-26 in Claremont, Calif.
