HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's track & field team will look to carry its momentum over to the outdoor season after the Fords crowned four All-Americans with a third-place finish in the distance medley relay during the NCAA Indoor Championships.

One of those event champions, Nora Weathers, was also a conference champion and All-American during the outdoor season last spring in the 1,500 meters. Katie Sullivan won the 800 Centennial Conference Championship during the indoor season and will look for that same result this spring as she returns as a runner-up in the event on the outdoor track. Her personal best outdoor time of 2:15.57 ranks her sixth in school history. Amelia Keyser-Gibson was the 5,000 meter champion during the winter. Both she and Sullivan were All-Americans on the DMR – along with Kerry Quigley.

Looking at the distance races, Maggie Heffernan returns as the fourth quickest steeplechase runner in program history. She placed third in the conference to earn honorable mention All-Centennial Conference accolades last fall. Nicole Giannetti ranks 10th in school history in both the 3,000 meters and the steeplechase.

In the field events, Claire Sargent won the shot put at the conference meet during the winter and currently ranks second in the outdoor record books with a personal best throw of 39 feet, nine and three-quarter inches. Also looking to excel in the throws will be Emily Anderson. Anderson joins the team after spending her winter on the women's basketball team. She was an honorable mention All-Centennial Conference performer in the discus and currently ranks second in school history for that event.

In the jumps, Elizabeth Reikowski is currently ranked fifth in school history with her personal best triple jump of 35 feet, four inches. Reikowski was also Haverford's representative on the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team last spring.

Haverford placed third at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships last spring with 114 points. The Fords were picked to finish second in the conference in the preseason voting of Centennial coaches.
