HAVERFORD, Pa. – Elizabeth Reikowski has been named the Centennial Conference Field Athlete of the Week as announced by conference officials. Reikowski's honor is the first of her career.

Competing in the triple jump this past weekend at the West Chester Invitational, Reikowski placed second overall. Her best leaped was a distance of 10.47 meters (34'5.25"). That mark also ranks her second in the Centennial Conference during the outdoor season.

During the indoor track & field season, the Fords' junior captain placed third at the conference championship to earn honorable mention All-Centennial Conference honors. Reikowski's best jump of 35 feet, four inches, which came last spring, currently ranks her fifth all-time in the school's outdoor track & field record book.

Reikowski and the rest of her teammates will be back in action this Saturday at the Chester Challenge hosted by Widener University. That meet is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m.
