SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Katie Sullivan and Nicole Giannetti put themselves in position to potentially qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships with personal bests during the Swarthmore Final Qualifying meet. Sullivan turned in the 11th fastest time in Division III during the 1,500 meters race while Giannetti currently ranks 22nd in the steeplechase. The top 22 declared individuals qualify for each event on the women's side which still has a couple last chance meets on the schedule.

Sullivan was the second finisher from Division III as she placed sixth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:31.63. That time is currently the 11th quickest in Division III and the second fastest in school history. Sullivan earned All-America honors during the indoor season with an eighth place finish in the mile during the national meet. Sophie Drew placed 38th in that event on Monday, crossing the line with a time of 4:57.35.

Giannetti turned in the third quickest time in school history and the 22nd fastest time in Division III this season as she completed the steeplechase with a mark of 10:55.64. Cutting nearly 35 seconds off of her previous PR in the event, Giannetti placed fourth in Monday's field.

Amelia Keyser-Gibson won her heat in the 5,000 meters and finished with a time of 17:54.59. Her time was good for 16th place at the end of the night. Elizabeth Reikowski was Haverford's lone entrant in the field events. She placed fourth in her flight and 10th overall with her best leap being measured at 10.17 meters.

Women's track & field has one more chance to improve its times before the NCAA declared entrants are announced. The Fords are currently scheduled to compete in Widener's last chance meet on Thursday before declared entries are revealed over the weekend.
