Program Top 10 Marks Highlight the Day for Women's Outdoor Track & Field

CHESTER, Pa. - On the second day of Danny Curran Invitational action, the Fords notched a bevy of program top 10s as action in the sprints, jumps, and throws highlighted the day at Widener University. 

In the jumps, Kayla Robinson continued her prolific run through the day's action with a fourth-place showing in the long jump, clearing 5.21 meters (17 feet, 1.25 inches). The mark is the fourth-best in Haverford outdoor program history. Flynn was 14th in the long jump (4.60 meters or 15 feet, 1.25 inches). Robinson also competed in the triple jump clearing 10.26 meters (33 feet, eight inches). 

Ceanne Lyon made her debut in the hammer throw, earning a 17th place finish after a mark of 24.83 meters (81 feet, five inches), a tally that is good for seventh-best in program history. Sydney Cummings also grabbed a 19th place showing, good for eighth in program history (23.20 meters or 76 feet, one inch). 

Sprinter Jahsaiah Moses logged her outdoor season debut with a time of 26.61 in the 200 meters, good for fifth overall in the event. Robinson was 26th in 27.90. In the 100 meters, Moses logged an 11th place finish (13.09). In the 100-meter hurdles, Robinson clocked a 19:51 while Fiona Flynn was third in the 400-meter hurdles (1:08).

A large 800-meter contingent was paced by Rachel November finishing in 29th (2:31.51), while Ella Fleming was 42nd (2:35.68) and Juliet Young made her debut with a time of 2:37.13 to finish within the top 50 in 45th. Taylor Seid (2:48.26) and Selena She (2:49.18) also logged top 60 finishes. Dominique Monroy was Haverford's lone entrant in the 1,500 meters, crossing in 5:15.48 for a 28th-place finish. 

Haverford heads right back into outdoor action next Saturday at Ursinus, as the Ursinus Outdoor Invitational is slated for a 10 a.m. start on April 9.
