Women's 4x100 Meter Relay Concludes Penn Relays Stint

PHILADELPHIA - The Haverford Women's Track & Field team wrapped up action at the 126th running of the Penn Relays on Friday at Franklin Field, competing in the prelims of the College Women's Eastern 4x100 meter relay. 

The relay squad of Naomi Fukuda, Jahsaiah Moses, Isabel Thornberry, and Rachel November clocked a 21st place overall finish, ahead of Division III opponents Catholic, Stockton, and Bryn Mawr, crossing the line in 52.13.

The finish was good for seventh in the first heat. The top time in the prelims went to Lehigh (46.95), with the Peacocks of St. Peter's, St. Joseph's, Maryland-Eastern Shore, Holy Family, Misericordia, Essex CC, California (Pa.), and the Roadrunners of Ramapo all moving on to Saturday's final. 

Haverford will return its full squad to action tomorrow at the TCNJ Invite in Ewing, N.J as the regular season concludes with events beginning at 10 a.m.
