Seniors Flynn, Petrichenko Honored with USTFCCCA Academic Recognition

NEW ORLEANS - In addition to the Division III All-Academic Team designation bestowed upon the program, the Haverford College women's track & field team also placed two members of the squad on the All-Academic athletes list. Angie Petrichenko and Fiona Flynn were each named to the honor for the 2022 season.

To qualify for this honor, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30. The student-athlete must also have qualified for either the indoor or outdoor NCAA track championships or finished a season ranked in the top 50 nationally in an individual event or top 35 in a relay event. 

Co-captain Flynn earned All-Region honors in the long jump as well as the 400 meter hurdles in her senior season at Haverford. Petrichenko was an NCAA qualifier in the indoor 5,000 meters, finishing 13th in the event.

Izzy Miller was the last Haverford athlete to earn the honor, taking home the designation during the 2021 season.Overall, there were more than 500 athletes who were named All-Academic Athletes in NCAA Division III Women's Track & Field.
