HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's track & field team competed in its lone home meet of the outdoor season on Monday evening as the team hosted the Haverford Tri-Meet on Johnson Track. What is usually a low-key meet provided astonishing performances that resulted in three school records.

Kayla Robinson put on a show in the jumps, walking away with two school records. The senior first broke her own program long jump record, which she set just two days prior, and then followed it up with a record-breaking triple jump. Robinson jumped 5.67 meters (18 feet, 7.25 inches) to completely blow her previous record of 5.38 meters out of the water. With the distance, Robinson now ranks 13th in Division III with much more room to improve.

Robinson returned to the runway to record a program record in the triple jump. On her fourth jump, she landed in the sand in what immediately felt like a record-breaking jump. With teammates and fans awaiting the official distance, they'd soon burst out into joy as 11.46 meters (37 feet, 7.25 inches) was read aloud. Her distance currently has her firmly second in the Centennial Conference.

The third program record came in the distance medley relay as the team of Annemarie Wood, Ally Landau, Audrey Carter, and Krysta Nichols ran 13:40.32 to place themselves in the outdoor record book. Impressive legs were run all around but Nichols's ability to hold off teammate Dominique Monroy in the final mile was surely the highlight of an exhilarating event.

Jahsaiah Moses, Kayla Robinson, and Ally Landau all broke 13 seconds in the 100-meter dash to finish third, fourth, and fifth respectively. Moses led the way, running 12.65 into the -0.90 headwind as Robinson crossed in 12.76 and Landau in 12.79.

Olivia D'Aulerio took the 200-meter dash crown at the meet, crossing the finish line in 26.04. Moses finished right behind her in second with a time of 26.17. Shahla Mukhtar also competed, running 29.44.

Before running in the 200-meter dash, Mukhtar took to the track for the 400-meter dash and walked away with a personal best and a Centennial Conference qualifier. The junior dipped at the line to finish in 1:05.93, bettering her indoor personal best by three seconds.

More personal bests came later in the meet. Rachel November ran a personal best of 1:11.25 in the 400-meter hurdles while Robinson and Ella Fleming ran personal bests in the 100-meter hurdles, running 16.91 and 18.85 respectively.

Three Fords competed in the 800-meter run with Jessie Hausman leading the pack with a time of 2:35.37. Brianna Feifer and Maya Holmes finished behind with Feifer running 2:46.31 and Holmes crossing the line in 2:54.18.

Sarah Wilcher and Cortlyn Morris threw personal bests in the shot put. Wilcher finished in first with a throw of 11.92 meters (39 feet, 1.25 inches) as she continues to increase her personal best week after week. Morris threw 11.30 meters (37 feet, 1 inch). Sydney Cummings also competed, throwing a distance of 9.69 meters (31 feet, 9.5 inches).

Wilcher and Morris returned to throw discus as Claire Cywes joined in on the fun. Wilcher finished first with a throw of 34.44 meters (113 feet) while Morris threw for 31.31 meters (102 feet, 9 inches). Cywes walked away with a personal best throw of 29.60 meters (97 feet, 1 inch).

Wilcher continues to get closer and closer to the program record in the hammer throw. The first-year demolished her personal best to climb to second on Haverford's all-time list. Her throw of 38.71 meters (127 feet) fell just short of the program record of 129 feet 11 inches set by  Unique Tuberville in 2019. Cummings just missed her personal best, throwing a distance of 36.62 meters (120 feet, 2 inches). Morris and Cywes also competed throwing 28.24 meters (92 feet, 8 inches) and 27.80 meters (91 feet, 2 inches) respectively.

Morris collected her last personal best on the day in the javelin, throwing 32.98 meters (108 feet,  2 inches).

Haverford's next meet will come on Friday as the team will send a 4x400 meter relay to the 127th annual Penn Relays in hopes of running a season's best. Race time is slated for 7:25 p.m. at Franklin Field.
