Full Centennial Conference Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's track & field team was well represented on the All-Centennial Conference squads, the conference office announced in a release on Friday. First-year Olivia D'Aulerio was named the CC Rookie of the Year, becoming the first honoree from Haverford to capture that award during the outdoor season.

Rookie of the Year
D'Aulerio was selected as the Rookie of the Year after a stellar campaign in the outdoor season. The Haverford first-year displayed her range in the sprints and mid-distance races this spring, ranking among the top-five in the conference among first years in the 100m (3rd), 200m (2nd), 400m (1st), and 800m (5th).  At the Centennial championship, she finished third in the 400, second in the 4x400, third in the 4x100 and seventh in the 200.

First-team All-Centennial Conference
In addition to the prowess of D'Aulerio, Haverford also earned a pair of first-team honorees after capturing gold at the CC meet last weekend. Katie Hirsche (10,000 meters) and Kayla Robinson (heptathlon) reprised their first-team honors from a season ago.

Second-team All-Centennial Conference
Ally Landau (400 meters) earned a second-team nod as an individual, while Robinson added silver in the long jump. The 4x400 meter relay squad of Landau, Isabel Thornberry, Jahsaiah Moses, and D'Aulerio were honored as second-team selections.

Honorable Mention All-Centennial Conference
D'Aulerio (400 meters), and Robinson (triple jump) also added honorable mention designation after bronze medal finishes in those events a weekend ago.

All-Sportsmanship Team
Senior thrower Claire Cywes was named to the CC All-Sportsmanship Team following the conclusion of championship weekend.

Haverford will continue its season on Monday afternoon at the Widener Final Qualifier in Chester, Pa. looking to post qualifying times to the NCAA National Championships over Memorial Day Weekend in Rochester.
