CHESTER, Pa. -  Looking to secure qualification to the upcoming NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Rochester, Haverford women's outdoor track & field star Kayla Robinson took a big step towards that qualification as she posted new personal bests in both the long jump and triple jump, extending her school records in both events on a beautiful afternoon in Chester.

In the long jump, Robinson cleared 5.77 meters (18 feet, 11.25 inches) on her third jump, again shattering her PR and school record, with a mark that is currently 16th in the nation. The triple jump was another fruitful event for the senior standout, as she cleared a whopping 11.93 meters (39 feet, inches), also logging the 16th-best mark in the nation with yet another school-record extending final jump of the evening.

Junior Ally Landau came into Monday's action at Widener looking at a solid shot to take down school records in the 200 meters and 400 meters, but fell just short of her personal bests, logging a sixth place finish in the 200 meters (26.00) and an eighth place finish in the 400 meters (58.24).

The top 22 declared athletes in each individual event will qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The official selection announcement is slated for Sunday, May 21. In addition to her current 16th position in both jumps, Robinson sits at 22nd in the nation in the heptathlon.
