Women’s Track & Field Opens Up the Paul Donahue Invitational with the 5,000 Meters

CHESTER, Pa. - The Haverford College women's track and field team competed on day one of the two-day Paul Donahue Invitational Friday evening at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium on the campus of Widener University.

Haverford began the meet in the 5,000 meters, which saw two Fords compete. Theresa Haupt earned a new personal best in the event, crossing the finish line in 20:50.4, placing 63rd. Right behind Haupt was teammate Audrey Carter, who finished 64th, with a time 20:52.59, a new personal best for the sophomore.

Next up for the Fords is day two at the Paul Donahue Invitational, as the first events in Chester, Pa. on Saturday, April 7, will begin at 9 a.m. with the 1,500 Meter Open Run.
