Haverford College Athletics

  • Fifty-nine fall athletes were named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll 
  • Men’s Cross Country won the NCAA Division III National Championship – the first Haverford team to win a title. 

Men’s Cross Country

  • Won the national championship, becoming the first Haverford team to win an NCAA crown 
  • USTFCCCA All-Mideast Region Team selections –(Arnold, Carpenter, Fuentes, Hulleberg, Schilit, Scoch, Southwick)  
  • All-America selection –(Arnold, Fuentes, Schilit, Southwick)

Tom Donnelly

  • USTFCCCA National Coach of the Year
  • USTFCCCA Mideast Coach of the Year
  • Centennial Conference Coach of the Year

Anders Hulleberg

  • NCAA individual champion
  • Mideast Region champion
  • Centennial Conference champion
  • U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III National Athlete of the Year and All-America
  • USTFCCCA Mideast Region Athlete of the Year
  • Centennial Conference Runner of the Year
  • Named Philadelphia Inquirer Fall Academic Performer of the Year in men's cross country

Andrew Lanham

  • Received Rhodes Scholarship


Women’s Cross Country

  • Team finished 25th at the NCAA championship meet
  • USTFCCCA All-Mideast region team selection –(Lipman, Hubbeling, Vienneau)
 

Field Hockey

  • Qualified for the Centennial Conference tournament for the second straight season and advanced to the conference championship game for the first time in program history

Roxanne Jaffe

  • A two time selection, named to the Longstreth/NFHCA First-Team All-South Region Team

Alex Waleko

  • Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Second-Team All-America and First-Team All-South Region
  • Became the first Fords field hockey player to garner Centennial Conference Player of the Year accolades


Men’s Soccer

  • Coach Bill Brady was named Centennial Conference Coach of the Year
  • Team inclusion on the 2010 NSCAA College Team Academic Award lists for posting a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher
  • National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) College Men Scholar All-East Region team selections –(Applegate –honorable mention, Griffith –honorable mention, Restrepo –honorable mention, Stossel –honorable mention, Wetherell –honorable mention)

Bill Brady

  • Centennial Conference Coach of the Year

Alejandro Rettig y Martinez

  • Named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Fall Academic All-Areas Team


Women’s Soccer

  • Team made its fourth consecutive appearance in the Centennial Conference tournament
  • Team inclusion on the 2010 NSCAA College Team Academic Award lists for posting a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher

Kayleigh Herrick_Reynolds

  • Third-Team NCAA Division III All-Mid-Atlantic region honors

Maura Schiefer

  • Third-Team NCAA Division III All-Mid-Atlantic region honors

Volleyball

  • Team won its second consecutive Centennial Conference regular season title and qualified for the conference tournament for the ninth straight season
  • Finished 10-0 in the Centennial Conference for the second straight year and has won 28 consecutive regular season conference matches
  • Head coach Amy Bergin won her 200th career match Oct. 15

Kelsey Cantwell

  • American Volleyball Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-Mid-Atlantic Region
  • Centennial Conference Player of the Year

Katey Comey

  • Named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Fall Academic All-Areas Team
