Haverford College Varsity Highlights - Winter 2007-08

Men’s Fencing

  • 15 men's fencers qualified for the NCAA Regional with two advancing to the NCAA Championship. 

Women’s Fencing

  • 15 women's fencers qualified for the NCAA Regional with two advancing to the NCAA Championship. 

Men’s Indoor Track and Field

  • Men's indoor track & field won its 14th Centennial Conference title in 15 years.
  • Annick Lamar (mile) and Joe Awantang (shot put) earned All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
  • Outstanding Performers at the Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships- (Ian Ramsey-North, Annick Lamar) 

Women’s Indoor Track and Field

  • Team won its third consecutive Centennial Conference Championship and fourth in the last five years.
