CARLISLE, Pa. – Haverford College's men's basketball team wasn't able to pull off the season sweep of Dickinson College, falling to the host Red Devils, 65-47, in Centennial Conference action Saturday afternoon in the Kline Center.

Haverford (7-15, 5-11 CC), which downed the Red Devils by 17 on Jan. 5, pulled in front by six points during first-half action Saturday but Dickinson (17-6, 12-4) squared things up at 17-17 on a Brandon Angradi 3-pointer that initiated a 14-0 run to close the half, allowing the Red Devils to carry a 28-17 lead into the intermission.

The halftime advantage grew to as many as 32 in the second half before the Fords were able to trim the margin to 18 at the final buzzer.

Lucas Colombo scored six points for Haverford and pulled down a game-high seven rebounds. Cam Baker, with 13 points, and Brett Cohen, with 11, led the Fords in the offensive end. Adam Honig posted a game-high 18 points for Dickinson with Steven Collins adding 11 more.

The Fords broke out to their first-half lead aided by a pair of Louis Cipriano treys and layups from James Levine and a pair from Cohen. Things went cold for the Haverford shooters after that as the team finished the day shooting 35 percent from the floor while the Red Devils heated up, hitting 51 percent of their shots including 9-of-17 from beyond the arc.

Dickinson's victory, paired with a Saturday loss by Franklin & Marshall College, pushes the Red Devils into sole possession of first place in the Centennial standings.

Haverford will close out the regular season with a trip to Allentown, Pa., Wednesday night to face host Muhlenberg College, followed by the final outing of the 2012-13 season, a Saturday visit by Swarthmore College.
