HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford College men's basketball coach Patrick Doherty has announced dates for the program's upcoming Spring Prospect Clinic as well as the Haverford Hoops Boys Basketball Camp. Both the clinic and the camp will take place in the Calvin J. Gooding Arena '84 on the Haverford Campus.
Coach Doherty and the Haverford College men's basketball program will be hosting a Spring Prospect Clinic on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open to players entering grades 10-12 who aspire to play at the college level. The clinic will feature drills and skill work as well as 3v3 and 5v5 play.
Per Coach Doherty, "The clinic will be run as if each participant is a current member of our program, and all participants should expect high quality instruction, competition, and the opportunity to get to know our coaching staff as well as current and former players."
Cost for the clinic is $60 and participants will receive a Haverford Basketball T-shirt. Registration deadline for the clinic is Tuesday, April 30.

The Haverford Hoops Boys Basketball Camp will take place on July 15-19, 2019. The camp is open to boys entering grades 1-8 (ages 6-14) and will be staffed by Coach Doherty, his assistant coaches, as well as current and former members of the Haverford basketball program. The camp will feature drills and skill work, as well as competitive 1v1, 3v3, and 5v5 games.
Per Coach Doherty, "Our primary focus is to create a camp experience that is safe, active, fun, and instructive for all campers. We aim to make our camps an integral part of the men's basketball program here at Haverford College, and we'll do everything we can to create a great experience for our campers."
Cost for the camp is $250 and all campers will receive a Haverford Basketball T-shirt.

Head coach Patrick Doherty just completed his second season with the Fords and has improved his team's win total during each of those first two seasons. The Fords have also set statistical marks on both ends of the court that have not been witnessed in decades.
Doherty came to Haverford after spending eight seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Lafayette College. Doherty had spent the last five years as the top assistant on Fran O'Hanlon's squad, earning the promotion to associate head coach prior to the 2015-16 season. Working alongside the winningest coach in both Lafayette and Patriot League history, Doherty helped Lafayette to four appearances in the Patriot League Championship game, capped by winning the league title and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament during a historic 2014-15 season.
