LANCASTER, Pa. – Haverford College's Jordan Schilit broke the school and Centennial Conference records for the 5,000 meter run with his performance at Princeton's Sam Ellis Memorial meet Friday, April 20, earning the junior his third conference performer of the week award during the 2012 outdoor season.

Schilit posted a second-place time of 13 minutes, 59.21 seconds at Princeton to shatter the 10-year-old conference mark by 20 seconds and 21-year-old Haverford mark by five seconds. His time is also the fifth-fastest 5,000 in Division III history.

The weekly Centennial honor was also bestowed upon Schilit on April 3 and April 10.
