CHESTER, Pa. - The Haverford College men's track & field team wrapped up its two day stint at the Paul Donahue Invitational at Widener on Saturday, with senior Jonathan Hill improving on his 100-meter personal best to move up the Haverford outdoor record books while plenty of other personal bests fell in Chester.

The Fords had two entrants in the 100 meters, as Hill finished 15th in the event out of the fifth heat, clocking a time of 11.14, moving his personal best into the sixth-fastest outdoor time in program history, while Jason Mayo crossed 51st in 11.67 out of the 10th heat.

Ravi Eaton paced the 400-meter grouping in 55th place overall, clocking a 52.35 out of the seventh heat. Vir Goyal was 77th in 53.83 out of heat 10, while Matthew Ruiz finished 99th overall racing out of the 15th heat, clocking a personal-best 59.09. '

The 800 meters saw Gopal Patel and Sam Diaz take to the track. Patel finished 61st in a personal-best 2:04.89 while Diaz was 67th in 2:06.86.

A large grouping in the 1,500 meter open run was paced by Owen Bluman, who finished 28th in a personal-best 4:00.03. Seamus Fraser was just behind in 35th place overall out of the third heat, finishing in a personal-record 4:01.61. Reed Solomon (40th, 4:03), William Harris (69th, 4:19.99), and Evan Daniels (76th, 4:25.98) rounded out the Haverford contingent.

Deven Abrams raced in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing 16th overall in 10:51.26. The personal-best time improved vastly on his 11:03.65 recorded at the Ursinus Track & Field Festival earlier this month.

In the field events, Eaton was the 10th place finisher in the triple jump, leaping 13.4 meters (43 feet, 11.75 inches). Nathan Ma logged a 37th place showing in the long jump, clearing 5.62 meters (18 feet, 5.25 inches).

Haverford now returns to action with a quick turnaround on the docket, hosting the lone home meet of the season, the Haverford Tri-Meet on Monday at Johnson Track. Action is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. before select entrants compete at the Penn Relays beginning on Thursday, April 25.
