WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The Haverford College men's outdoor track and field team sent several field participants to the West Chester Open hosted by West Chester University today.

In the triple jump, senior Chaz Schneider had a 11.82m jump. His jump is one of the top 15 jumps in the Centennial Conference this season. During the shot put, junior Robert Parry had a 10.99m while freshman Josiah Legaspi was right behind his teammate (10.79m). Legaspi broke his personal record in the discus (30.50m) while Parry's 31.67m was just outside the top ten.

Freshman George Avecillas participated in the javelin and had a throw of 37.25m.

The Fords will now travel to Allentown, Pa. to take part in the Centennial Conference Championships (May 1-3). Haverford finished second at last year's conference championship after winning titles in 2012 and 2013.
