HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's outdoor track and field team comes in at No. 13 in the latest US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association's computer rankings. The Fords were No. 8 in last week's rankings.

Last week, the Fords participated in the West Chester Open hosted by West Chester University and the TCNJ Invitational hosted by The College of New Jersey.

West Chester Open

In the triple jump, senior Chaz Schneider had a 11.82m jump which is one of the top 15 jumps in the Centennial Conference this season. During the shot put, junior Robert Parry had a 10.99m while freshman Josiah Legaspi was right behind his teammate (10.79m). Legaspi broke his personal record in the discus (30.50m) while Parry's 31.67m was just outside the top ten.

TCNJ Invitational

Senior Gibby Graves had two top five finishes, placing third in the high jump (1.95m) and fifth in the long jump (6.70m). The senior's high jump is the third best among Centennial Conference jumpers this outdoor season while his long jump is second. In the triple jump, the senior had a 12.63m which is good for a top ten jump in the conference.

UW-La Crosse leads the overall rankings for the sixth straight week while UW-Eau Claire, UW-Whitewater, Monmouth (Ill.) and Augustana (Ill.) round out the top five. The Fords remain the only team in the Centennial Conference to be ranked in the top 25.

The Fords will now travel to Allentown, Pa. to take part in the Centennial Conference Championships (May 1-3). Haverford finished second at last year's conference championship after winning titles in 2012 and 2013.
