The 2023-2024 Academic All-District ® Women’s Basketball Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The Fords had the second-most Honor Roll selections in Men's Indoor Track & Field with 28, while Men's Basketball (8), Women's Basketball (9), and Women's Indoor Track & Field (18) all had the third-most Honor Roll honorees in their respective sports.
Despite playing in just 17 games this season, Landau led the Fords in scoring for the third season in a row, averaging 16.3 points per game, finishing third in the Centennial Conference in that category.
Landau, in her final game as a member of the Fords, matched a career high in points with 36. Her 38 shot attempts marked a new career best, and her six made three-pointers notches another new personal best for the Livingston, N.J. native.
For the Fords, Landau was the lone scorer in double-figures totaling 13 points, while Jakway contributed six points and pulled down four rebounds in a noble effort.
The Fords displayed strength on both sides of the ball throughout the victory, commanding a 50-39 edge in rebounding and outshooting the Mules 30.4 percent to 25 percent.
Haverford mounted a fourth-quarter comeback to pull to within three with less than a minute remaining, but the hosts secured the win at the free-throw line.
Haverford will now return home for a midweek showdown against rival Swarthmore Garnet on Wednesday, marking the first contest of a home-and-home series.
Haverford held the Bullets in check for three quarters, but Gettysbug pulled away down the stretch to defend home court in the Centennial Conference matchup.
For the Fords, Jakway scored a career-high 16 points, while Landau tallied 13 points. On the glass, Abby Ryan and Shae Mercer both pulled down seven rebounds each.

The Fords will now break for finals week and the winter holidays before regrouping and heading to the Isla del Encanto for the Puerto Rico Clasico on December 29-30.
Mercer paced all Fords in scoring with 16 points, shooting an impressive 7-15 from the field. Summer Ryan led the Scarlet and Black in rebounds, pulling down nine boards in the matchup.
In a battle with the Mighty Macs, Landau scored 31 points off of a new career-high 30 field goal attempts, and grabbed 12 rebounds for a double-double to help guide the Fords to a 62-48 win
