A standout for the Haverford College men’s tennis team, Harrison Elbert ’16 now brings his tennis skills to the women’s team as an assistant coach.

Elbert was twice named a first-team All-Centennial Conference selection in doubles during his career at Haverford as he helped lead the Fords to the conference playoffs in each of his four seasons as a student-athlete.

A team captain who also represented Haverford on the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team and Academic Honor Roll, Elbert capped his career with 30 doubles wins and 26 more victories in singles. His winning percentages in both rank among the best in program history. He was named the team’s most improved player following the 2015 season and was honored with the Bramall Award for dedication following his senior campaign.
