Women's cross country ranked 26th in national preseason poll

NEW ORLEANS - The Haverford College women's cross country team was voted into 26th place in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III 2012 national preseason poll, as announced by the organization.

The Fords, picked fifth in the Mideast Region by the USTFCCCA earlier in the week, finished second in the Centennial Conference, fourth in the region and 28th in the nation last season.

Haverford was one of three Centennial institutions to merit inclusion to the top-35 ranking as Johns Hopkins University and Dickinson College were voted to seventh and 18th, respectively.
