First-year Anastasia Jaycobs finished first for the Scarlet and Black on the day, placing 15th with a time of 20:15.5. The Nantucket, Mass. native achieved a new personal record in three mile competitions, beating her previous time of 20:36.7 from the Main Line Invitational back in September.

Rounding out the meet for the Fords was Judy Xie who crossed the finish line in 21st place, completing the race in 23:29.6.

Penn (21 points) beat out Villanova (34 points) for the Haverford Invitational crown.

Coming up next, the Fords will head to Westminster, Md. on Saturday, October 28 for the Centennial Conference Championships at the McDaniel College Golf Course on the campus of McDaniel College.
