Why did you choose Haverford?
My sister actually went here, so when looking at colleges I almost automatically added it to my list. Coach Rizzo invited me to come do an overnight with the team and I absolutely fell in love with the customs program. I went from considering this among many other schools to early decision within the 16 hours I was on campus.

What is your favorite team experience?
After a race that we did pretty well in my freshman year a bunch of the seniors drove us down to Hope's Cookies. I can't say anything particularly dramatic happened, but I just remember it as one of my favorite times with the team. We had achieved something we were working towards and then we ate cookies, can't get much better than that I suppose.

Why did you choose to play a sport in college?
Well some people think running is an individual sport, but when you are on a team it seems anything but individual. Every conference, regional, national meet I see the team come together and we have PRs left, right, and center. I wanted that experience in college and I haven't been disappointed at all.

What does being a student-athlete mean to you?
Going into college people warned me that I would have to make sacrifices in order to be both a student and an athlete. Maybe that's true, but I would hardly call them sacrifices. I've been part of a hardworking, successful, dedicated group of women and I wouldn't give up a minute with them for a free Sunday morning or Wednesday afternoon.

What makes Haverford unique?
This is a pretty amazing community. I can't speak to its uniqueness because frankly I haven't experienced any other college campuses, but I've never regretted my decision to coming here.
