Mideast Regional Rankings

HAVERFORD, Pa. – With just over two weeks remaining before the Centennial Conference Championships, the women's cross country postseason appears headed for a thrilling conclusion if the latest rankings are any indication. The Fords are ranked No. 29 in the latest poll, down three positions from last week after not competing.

In the immediate term, the ranking news for the Fords is contained in the Mideast Regional where each of the top four teams will compete for that aforementioned conference title. Johns Hopkins maintains its spot at No. 1 in both the region and the nation.

Dickinson moved up two spots and now sits in a tie with Swarthmore for the second spot in the region with 91 voting points. Just behind the Red Devils and Garnet are the Fords with 90 voting points in the regional poll.

The Fords will next run at the Rowan Inter-Regional this Saturday. Saturday's meet could be the next best thing to a Centennial Conference and Mideast Regional for Haverford as Johns Hopkins, Dickinson, and Swarthmore are all expected to compete.

Haverford has won each of its last two races that it has entered with team titles in the long race at the Dickinson Invitational and the white race at the Paul Short Run.
