Three Honored by Centennial Conference for Women's Cross Country

Centennial Conference Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's cross country placed two individuals on the All-Centennial Conference team. Those runners earned their designation as all-conference performers based on their finishes at the Centennial Conference Championship.

Katie Sullivan earned first-team All-Centennial Conference honors after placing sixth at the conference meet. Her honor is the first of her career after she missed the conference meet during her freshman campaign. First-team honors were given to the top seven finishers overall in the conference.

Nora Weathers earned second-team All-Centennial Conference honors for the third consecutive season with the Fords. Her eighth place finish at the conference meet matched her career best finish from the 2013 season. She also placed 10th at the 2014 Centennial Conference Championship. The second-team All-CC was made up of the eighth through 14th place finishers.

In addition to Haverford placing two runners among the top 14 in the conference, Molly Allen earned recognition on the conference's all-sportsmanship team. A team captain, Allen has consistently been among the team's top seven runners this season. She has also been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll in each of her three eligible seasons of cross country.

The No. 20 women's cross country team will return to competition this weekend at the NCAA Mideast Regional in Newville, Pa. The Fords are currently ranked second in the region. Two teams automatically qualify to the NCAA Championship from this weekend's competition.
