HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's cross country team has been selected as an at-large team to the NCAA Division III Championship as announced by the national office on Sunday. The Fords, ranked No. 20 in the most recent USTFCCCA Poll, will now be able to enter a full team of seven runners in this coming week's national championship.
Haverford's appearance at the NCAA Championship will be its 15th as a team. Eleven of the team's appearances have come in the past 14 seasons. The team's best overall finish came during the 1993 season when Haverford placed 10th overall.
The 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship will take place this coming Saturday, November 21 in Oshkosh, Wisc. The women's race is slated for an 11 a.m. start.
