Women's Cross Country Earns At-Large Bid to NCAA Championship

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's cross country team was one of 16 teams selected for an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championship. With that bid, Haverford will now be able to enter a full team of seven entrants into the national meet.

The national championship will be held next Saturday, November 19. The race will take place at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky. Women's cross country will be making its 16th appearance at the NCAA Championships, including its seventh trip in the last eight seasons during the upcoming week.

With the announcement of at-large bids, Haverford is one of 17 schools in Division III to qualify both its men's and women's cross country teams to the national championship. The Haverford College men's cross country team earned an automatic bid to the national meet with a second place finish at yesterday's meet.
