HAVERFORD, Pa. – Hannah Doll earned qualification to the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships following a 16th place finish at the Mideast Regional last Saturday. The Fords' sophomore will make her second straight appearance on the national stage this Saturday, November 17 with the women's race set to get underway at 11:15 a.m. local time (12:15 p.m. Eastern). The national championship race will be hosted by Wisconsin-Oshkosh at the Lake Breeze Golf Club.

Doll earned her spot into the NCAA Championship field by being the fifth individual finisher not among the teams who were selected to the national championship. Doll placed 222nd in her first NCAA Championship race last fall with a time of 23:09.1, but has come back even stronger during her sophomore campaign.

Doll earned second-team All-Centennial Conference honors for the first time in her cross country career this fall and followed that up with her first All-Mideast Region just last weekend. She has been Haverford's top finisher during each of the races she entered this fall and set a new personal best at the 6,000 meter distance during the conference championships as she crossed the line in a time of 22:37.6.

Her appearance on the national stage will mark the 27th time Haverford has been represented at the national championships in the 32 year history of the program. On 17 of those occasions, Haverford has qualified as a team while sending individuals in 10 other years.

The top 35 runners at the national championship meet will earn All-America honors. Haverford has had combined for 13 All-Americans in the history of its women's cross country program. The program's most recent All-American was Fiona Henry '16 during the 2012 season when she placed 23rd overall. Haverford's highest ever finish came from Jen Maranzano '94 during the 1993 season when she finished fourth overall at the national championships.
