USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's cross country team was recently honored as a U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association's (USTFCCCA) 2020 Division III All-Academic Team. To be considered an All-Academic Team, programs must have compiled a cumulative GPA or 3.10 or greater.

Haverford was one of 207 schools on the women's side to earn this distinction. The Fords' team GPA ranked sixth among all Division III institutions and was also the top mark among Centennial Conference schools. Haverford has won the USTFCCCA Academic Team Award every year since 2007.

Although no individual awards were able to be presented with no regional meet being held, the Fords will still not short on academic achievement. During the fall semester, the Fords placed 21 student-athletes on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor. That total was the highest in the Centennial Conference. Honored student-athletes were Amalia Axinn, Marly Banatte, Rhea Chandran, Natalia Cordon, Maggie Doubman, Fiona Flynn, Hedy Goodman, Molly Hawkins, Ellie Keating, Faizah Khan, Izzy Miller, Kristen Min, Sophie Schleifer, Selena She, Lauren Tanel, Cate Tomson, Claire Wang, Eva White, Annemarie Wood, and Cathy Zhu.
