Women’s squash gets first win of season with 7-2 victory over Dragons

PHILADLEPHIA – The Haverford College women's squash team looked impressive in its 7-2 victory at Drexel University Friday evening, winning every match in straight sets.

Caroline Nightingale, Jenny Tong and Kira Jones won at the top-three spots, respectively. Katherine Pryor, Kara Percival, Eliza Williams and Aliza Polkes took victories at the Nos. 5-8 positions.

"Our practice is paying off and we worked hard and got it done tonight," said head coach Niki Clement.

Haverford improves to 1-4 on the season.

The Fords will be in action next when they host Johns Hopkins University Saturday, Dec. 4 at 10:30 a.m.
