WALLINGFORD, Conn. -- The Haverford College women's squash team ended its season with a hard-fought battle against Boston College on Sunday afternoon at Choate Rosemary Hall. The match, which ended 7-2 in favor of Boston College, was in the consolation bracket on the final day of the Epps Cup in the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Tournament for the 31/32 ranking.

Among other impressive performances, Isabel Agnew and Isabelle Gotuaco delivered two points for Haverford. Gotuaco, a sophomore, won her match in a clean sweep (11-6, 11-9, 11-7). The win bumps her individual season record to 11-9, giving her the lead in wins among her teammates. She has won 10 of her last 13 matches.

Agnew, a junior, claimed her first two games in clean wins (11-9, 11-5). The third game was extremely competitive and went to extra points, but Agnew fell (15-13). Unphased by the dramatic loss, she won a resilient fourth game (11-7) to score another team point for the Fords. The win marks Agnew's ninth on the season.

Ava Lichauco refused to surrender, taking her counterpart to five games. Lichauco won the first two games (11-8, 11-9) before falling in a tight fifth game (14-12).

Bethany Simmonds and Grace Fioramonti-Gorchow each won one game.

Head coach Niki Clement's team finishes the season ranked No. 32 with an overall record of 6-14. CSA Individual Championships begin on Friday, March 4 at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, Conn. Participants and scheduling will be announced at a later date.
