HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford senior Isabel Agnew has been selected as the Harrow Sports National Squash Player of the Week, the College Squash Association (CSA) announced in a release on Wednesday morning. Agnew is the third member of the Fords to garner the plaudit, becoming the first since Samara Flug took home the award in 2014.

Over the weekend, Haverford faced Boston College and Bucknell. In a very close team match, Haverford's co-captain faced Boston College's Sabrina Didizian at the match at the number three position.

The pair played a five-game match, which Agnew claimed 13-11 in the final game (6-11, 15-13, 11-4, 8-11, and 13-11) to help the Fords defeat the Eagles, 5-4.

She also added a spirited five-game victory against Bucknell player Anna Hart (11-7, 7-11, 11-2, 12-14, 14-12) to conclude her senior day with two individual wins.

Agnew, a product of Falmouth, Maine, finishes her regular season career with a 34-30 overall record. Her 34 career wins are the second most in program history to Rachel Kaplan '99, who tallied 38.

No. 32 Haverford will be off this weekend as it awaits the release of brackets for the CSA Women's Team Championships at Princeton from February 24-26.
