Grace Fioramonti-Gorchow Named CSA Scholar Athlete

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Senior Grace Fioramonti-Gorchow of the Haverford College women's squash team was named a College Squash Association (CSA) Scholar Athlete for the 2017-18 campaign, the organization has announced.

The Scholar Athlete Award (varsity team players) and Academic Recognition Award (club team players) is granted to juniors or seniors who have played on the team throughout their college career, participated in the majority of the team's matches in the top-10 of the lineup during the season, and have achieved a high academic standing at their institution. 

Fioramonti-Gorchow finished the season with a 7-9 record, including a 3-3 mark at the number six singles position and a 4-6 record at the number seven spot on the ladder for Haverford. The Chicago native finished the season with two wins in the CSA Team Championships, taking down opponents from then-No. 31 California and then-No. 29 Vassar as the Fords finished as the No. 29 team in the nation.
