Prospective student-athlete day is a great opportunity to learn about our soccer program, meet with current players, tour campus, and learn what Haverford and our soccer program have to offer.
To be eligible for Academic All-District accolades, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, appear in 90 percent of their team's contests or start in at least 66 percent, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better.
To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and attain a cumulative grade point average of 3.40 or higher.
Phoebe Garfield, Liv McMilan, and Haskell led Haverford in shots with two each, while Buyer played all 90 minutes and ended the contest with five saves.
The Fords return to action Tuesday October 24, as they travel right up the road to take on the Owls of Bryn Mawr in Centennial Conference action. Kick-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Muhlenberg head coach Kathy Prescott ‘17 made her first trip back to Walton Field as a head coach, this time on the sidelines instead of between the posts.
Haverford’s first chance came in the 19th minute, as Sarah Klink took advantage of a turnover along the back line. Klink moved in on an angle and played a low grounded shot that was saved by Dickinson’s netminder Elizabeth Allen.
After falling behind 2-0 in the first 17 minutes of the match, Haverford cut the lead in half in the 36th minute of the first half on some beautiful soccer in front of the Arcadia net.
A total of 801 soccer teams (307 men, 494 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the award for the 2022-23 academic year.
