2024 Snell-Shillingford Symposium

LANCASTER, Pa. -- The Centennial Conference is proud to announce the selection of 27 participants for the 2024 Snell-Shillingford Symposium. This year's event, which marks a quarter-century of excellence, is set to be held at Bryn Mawr College on January 20-21, 2024.

The Snell-Shillingford Symposium, named in honor of pioneering coaches Eleanor Frost Snell and Jenepher Shillingford, has been a cornerstone event in enhancing the leadership skills of participants, with a specific focus on aiding undergraduate women in forging careers within athletics and beyond. Over the past 25 years, it has inspired and empowered countless female student-athletes, fostering a community of leaders who excel both on and off the field.

This year's cohort comprises 27 dynamic participants from various colleges within the Centennial Conference. These individuals, selected for their remarkable leadership potential and dedication to learning, embody the spirit and values the symposium has upheld since its inception.

The 2024 symposium features a blend of tradition and contemporary relevance, featuring workshops, mentorship opportunities, and networking sessions designed to equip the participants with skills and insights for their athletic and professional journeys.

In addition to the educational components, the symposium will host a special event to commemorate the 25th anniversary. Follow the hashtag #SnellSymposium on your social media platforms, or visit Snell-Symposium to stay informed about the most recent updates on the Snell-Shillingford Symposium.
