Haverford Athletics

  • Haverford had the most student-athletes (101) named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. The Fords finished with 209 Academic Honor Roll selections during the 2016-17 academic year.
  • 33 student-athletes were named to All-Centennial Conference teams.
  • Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team: Ethan Lee-Tyson (baseball), Emily Gorman (softball), Justin Brendel (men’s lacrosse), Averi Gaines (women’s lacrosse), Raja Arul (men’s tennis), Jane Bary (women’s tennis), Alex Frost (men’s track & field), Elizabeth Reikowski (women’s track & field)
  • Men’s outdoor track & field and women’s outdoor track & field were represented at the NCAA Division III National Championship
  • Haverford finished 122nd overall in the Learfield Directors’ Cup standings
  • Haverford won the Hood Trophy over Swarthmore for the 22nd straight year by an 11.5-6.5 score.
