Haverford Athletes

  • Placed 39 student-athletes on Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
  • Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team: Jeremy Evans (men’s basketball), Clio Bodie (women’s basketball), Jeffrey Duncan (men’s indoor track & field), Molly Allen (women’s indoor track & field)
  • Garnered 52 All-Centennial Conference honors, including 26 first-team selections
  • Charlie Marquardt was the NCAA runner-up in the mile during the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships to earn his fifth career All-America certificate. The men were also represented by the distance medley relay (Henry Woods, Jonathan Yellets, Liam Lynch, Charlie Marquardt) at the national meet
  • The women’s indoor track & field distance medley relay placed third at the national championship, giving Amelia Keyser-Gibson, Kerry Quigley, Katie Sullivan and Nora Weathers All-American certificates

Men’s Basketball

  • Registered four wins, including a regular season sweep of Centennial Conference opponent Washington College
  • Also topped Albright in the MAC-Centennial Tournament and won at home against Summit (Pa.)
  • Joe Scibelli was named the program’s first Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year
  • Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll: Jeremy Evans, Matt Sherman, Henry Stevens, Justin Winkler
  • Jeremy Evans was named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team

Women’s Basketball

  • The Fords finished the season with 15 wins overall, marking a program-record fifth straight season the team has won at least that many games
  • Made the Centennial Conference playoffs for the fifth straight year
  • Haverford ranked fifth in the nation in opponents' field goal percentage (30.9%), 10th in opponents' points per game (50.5), 21st in fewest fouls (354), 46th in defensive rebounds per game (30), and 54th in blocked shots per game (4.5)
  • All-Centennial Conference: Sierra Berkel (second team), Samantha Wetzel (honorable mention)
  • Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll: Emily Anderson, Sierra Berkel, Clio Bodie, Darby Festa, Olivia Walsh, Samantha Wetzel

Men’s Squash

  • Finished with a 9-13 overall record, tied for the second-most wins since the 2006-2007 season
  • Three team members finished with double digit wins, led by Zach Cole’s team-high 13
  • The team ended its season ranked No. 36 with an appearance in the Chaffee Cup in the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Championship
  • Seniors Nathan Vestrich-Shade and Alex Egilman were named CSA Scholar Athletes
  • Vestrich Shade participated in the CSA Individual Championships for the third consecutive year

Women’s Squash

  • Finished the season with six wins overall, ranked No. 32 in final national rankings
  • Competed in the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Championships in the Epps Cup
  • Isabelle Gotuaco garnered a team-high 11 wins, five of which came out of the No. 1 ladder position
  • Isabel Agnew’s nine wins moves her into a tie for third all-time in program history with 27 total
  • Head coach Niki Clement was given the Chaffee Award, presented annually to a women's coach whose has demonstrated the qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, character, and improvement

  • Finished third at the MACFA Team Championship
  • NCAA Regional Qualifiers: David Parker (18th, sabre), Gabriel Braun (19th, sabre), Ian Wheeler (27th, foil), Eric Gardner (28th, epee), Kailash Faris (34th, epee), Jake Bassinder (35th, epee)
  • MACFA Medalists: Gabriel Braun (bronze, sabre), Eric Gardner (bronze, epee), Jake Bassinder (bronze, epee)
