The Fords tacked on a run in the third on an RBI double from Goss, as Partee came into score after roping a single with one out. Wisconsin Lutheran cut the advantage to just one at 3-2 with a two-run frame in the fifth.

Partee singled and Goss doubled yet again in the fifth. Luke Wallis picked up an RBI on a sacrifice fly, giving Haverford some breathing room with an insurance run. In the sixth, the Fords added a pair of unearned runs as Ben Furlong reached on an error and advanced to second. Owen Plambeck reached on an infield hit and Will Karp loaded the bases following a hit by pitch. WLU grabbed a run in the fourth on a Brock Vredeveld double and an RBI from Joe Hanson, but the Fords plated an insurance tally in the fifth. Plambeck reached on an infield single and Turner double into right field. Furlong skied a sacrifice fly for the fifth run of the contest for Haverford.

The Fords roared back with four runs in the fourth inning. Michael Schwarze singled and Jared Turner walked ahead of Nick Perez, who tripled home the pair for a 2-1 advantage.

The Fords made it 6-2 in the top of the seventh on a Perez RBI double, and Duris took the hill for the seventh frame, finishing the complete game effort. Haverford had four players with multiple hits, including Lee-Tyson with a three-hit effort. Perez did damage with the bat, knocking in three.

Haverford will return to action on Saturday, wrapping up the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic at 9 a.m. against No. 6 Wooster.
