Lucas Greenbaum Named to CC All-Sportsmanship Team

Centennial Conference Baseball All-Sportsmanship Team Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College senior pitcher Lucas Greenbaum has been named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team, the conference office announced in a postseason release on Friday afternoon.

Sportsmanship is one of the pillars of NCAA Division III and the Centennial Conference. The Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify the fundamental values of respect, fairness, civility, honesty, and responsibility both on and off the field or playing surface.

The Berkeley, Calif. product was limited by injury during his time at Haverford, but remained a positive, vocal force for a Haverford squad that made a pair of Centennial Conference playoff appearance and appeared poised for a third in a halted 2020 campaign. Graduating later this week with a degree in History, Greenbaum was a member of the Centennial Conference Honor Roll in each season of eligbility. In April, he was named an Ambler Scholar Athlete, a distinction bestowed upon senior student-athletes who maintain the 16 highest cumulative GPAs in that group.

Greenbaum wraps his Haverford career with 12 appearances, including one start. He tossed 19 innings and struck out 12 batters in three seasons on the mound. Greenbaum compiled a 3.79 ERA, including a 2.45 ERA in 7.1 innings during the 2020 campaign. On the spring break trip to Fort Myers, Fla., Greenbaum appeared as a pinch runner and scored his first career run in an 18-4 win over Carroll (Wis.).
