Peter Giombetti, a highly accomplished collegiate baseball player, has joined the Haverford College baseball coaching staff for the 2025 season.

Giombetti began his playing career at Great Valley High School, where he led the league in RBIs and earned First Team All-Chestmont League honors in 2017. He continued his playing career at The Catholic University of America, where he made a significant impact.

Giombetti rewrote the history books at Catholic, setting school records for Single Season Home Runs, Slugging Percentage, and Total Bases. His career slugging percentage remains the best in school history. Additionally, he broke single-season home run and total base records in the Landmark Conference.

Giombetti's exceptional performance earned him numerous accolades, including Mid-Atlantic D3 Baseball Player of the Year, Landmark Conference Player of the Year, two-time Landmark Conference First Team member, Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week, and the first-ever unanimous NCAA All-American at CUA.

He also excelled in the classroom, making the Dean's List eight times and earning three All-Landmark Academic Team honors. After graduating from Catholic, Giombetti transferred to Villanova in 2023 for his final year of eligibility, appearing in 15 games for the Wildcats.

A Malvern, Pennsylvania resident, Giombetti currently works as an account executive at Paycom. He holds a B.S.B.A in Finance with Sales and Entrepreneurship Specializations and is pursuing a Master's degree in Business Analytics at Villanova.
