HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College Cricket program has confirmed six fall matches for 2023, with all of those contests slated for home on Cope Field. The slate includes four weekends of home contests on Cope Field throughout the months of September and October.
The Haverford XI begins its season with an early season showdown against the Terrapins of the University of Maryland (Sept. 10). The next weekend of action sees the Fords in action against Germantown Cricket Club (Sept. 16) and Merion Cricket Club (Sept. 17).
The Fords then host both British Officers Cricket Club (Sept. 23) and the Quakers of Penn (Sept. 24) before a contest with Columbia University (Sept. 30) as the Lions visit to wrap up the month of September.
October sees three dates of competition (Oct. 1, 7, and 8) with opponents and times still to be determined, as well as the date and time for the annual fall alumni contest which is still to be finalized.
