HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College field hockey team welcomed back 16 alumnae to Swan Field on Saturday afternoon for the annual preseason contest between the current squad and the alumnae team. Following the contest, the team hosted a tailgate that allowed the current team to network and reconnect with the returning Fords.

After 70 minutes of fast-paced action in the contest, the two sides were deadlocked at 4-4 at the end of regulation. The current team prevailed in spirited penalty strokes that were contested in lieu of overtime.

The alumnae team included Catherine Aronowitz '15, Sarah Betti '17, Jolie Brakey '18, Paige Carson '18, Robin Cresiski '01, Malin Ehrsam '18, Alexandra Fascione-Hutchins '18, Abby Frerotte '17, Kelly Hancock '16, Brooke Kelly '15, Sara Ozawa '18, Danielle Rette '18, Margaret Selsor '12, Stephanie Terrell '18, Elena Veale '18, and Nicole Witte '17.

Haverford opens up the 2018 campaign on Friday, August 31 at Cabrini. Match time is slated for 4:30 p.m. at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
