Fords compete at regionals

EASTON, Pa. - The Haverford College men's fencing team completed its season with a solid showing Sunday at the NCAA regional championship held on the campus of Lafayette College.

Foilists Max Findley and Sam Levinson stood at the forefront of the Fords' effort as they placed 18th and 19th, respectively. Placing 26th in foil was sophomore Lawrence Wang.

Team captain Andrew Bostick capped a noteworthy career with a 20th-place finish in epee competition. Squadmate James Nieuwland finished 30th.

Junior Linus Marco placed 30th in sabre while freshman Joshua Nadel came in 34th.

Haverford hosts the alumni competition this Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Andy Kates fencing salle.
