Maestro Wang Yung started his fencing career at the City College of New York in 1969 under Edward Lucia – the coach for the 1968 Olympic team. Yung had a long and storied career in New York City, representing the New York Fencers’ Club and training with Hungarian Maestros Odon Neiderkirschner and Csaba Elthes from 1974 until 1993. Upon moving to Washington State, Yung began training with national sabre coach Ed Korfanty. Yung has been on 14 US World Championship teams and have seven world medals including gold in 2011. Maestro Yung coaches national and world champions out of Infinity Fencing Alliance. Infinity Fencing Alliance coach and fencer Jane Eyre has six times individual world championship. Fencer Ellen O'Leary has won three individual World Championships.
