HAVERFORD, Pa. – Alejandro Rettig y Martinez scored twice and Nikko Giannasca netted the game-winning goal as the Haverford College men's soccer team defeated visiting Dickinson College, 3-2, in a Centennial Conference match Sunday afternoon at Walton Field.

The Haverford (4-6-1, 1-4-0 CC) defense did its job down the stretch, allowing just one Dickinson (6-4-3, 4-1-0 CC) shot, which sailed wide of the net.

Haverford keeper Nick Kahn made six saves, five of them coming in the first half, to earn the win. The Red Devils' Cody Hickok stopped two shots. Both teams attempted 13 shots.

Dickinson's Javier Mena opened the scoring with the first of his two goals in the ninth minute.
