Season Review: Men's soccer earns top seed in Centennial tournament

Signature Win: Haverford celebrated Senior Day in style with a 2-1 victory over No. 18 Swarthmore College on October 26 at Walton Field. The win secured a spot in this year's Centennial Conference tournament for the defending conference champions.

Registering their second win over a ranked opponent in a week's time, the Fords accounted for Swarthmore's first conference loss of the season while punching their third straight ticket to the Centennial playoffs.

Freshman Tejan Walcott opened the scoring in the 29th minute in the rematch of last year's Centennial final while senior Ford Bohrmann scored the eventual game-winner three minutes later.

The victory elevated Haverford into the national rankings and kept the Fords in the mix for the top seed in the conference tournament which they clinched a week later with a double-overtime tie against host Johns Hopkins University. Walcott provided the lone Haverford goal in the contest.
